"A Box of 45's"

There's nothing quite like it - you dig around in the back of the closet, or in the basement, or the garage, and you find it. A big old carton of 45 records. See, you didn't sell them after all! And look at these treasures. Rare stuff, old stuff, classics, songs and artists you just don't hear on the radio.

Welcome to the new sound of RocknRoots. My plan is to present several shows of "box of 45s" music, touching every decade from the 1920's
through the current community of singer-songwriters. There will be as much variety as I can unearth: folk, blues, jazz, swing, r&b, world music, Americana, classic rock, all of it.

Come along as I dig through my own personal box of 45s, and enjoy the music I turn up. If you've been hankering to hear something from these hidden treasure chests, write to me at tom@rocknroots.org, and let me
